in part from documentation contained in an article entitled "New Wells
Hotel Opened on Tuesday", published by the Cariboo Observer of November
17, 1934, page 1.; from information written by Jennifer Iredale of Barkerville
Park who quoted from a description of the hotel published in the Province
newspaper of October 13, 1934; Ms Ireland then went on to describe the
Wells Hotel situated on Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Wells, B.C. Contributing
information was also obtained through phone call interviews with Sandy
Phillips of Bowron Lake (nee Pelletier) Della Jubensky, and Judy Campbell
of Wells.
