Restoration Projects

The largest restoration project presently being undertaken in Wells is the restoration of the Centennial Community Hall. The cost of this project is close to five hundred thousand, and fund-raising is still going on. To find out more information on the Community Hall Restoration, history of the hall or how you can help...please visit the Friends of the Community Hall Website or "Measured Drawing" An Architectural Heritage of British Columbia - Centennial Hall

The entire town of Wells is, in it's own right a restoration project. Most if not all residents of the town would like to restore standing buildings back to their 1930's splendor but funding is always an issue. There are several private initiatives to restore buildings such as the Pacific 66, Good Eats Café and the Sunset Theatre.

For more information on restoration of buildings in Wells contact the District of Wells Municipality.
