The Meadows

During the 1930s there was a horse racing track and a nine-hole golf course on the meadow. Today the Meadows provides a large network of trails for both tourists and locals who enjoy hiking in the summer, and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and dog sledding in the winter. During the summer it is quite common to see moose and other wildlife on the Meadows.
